“Full hookups” would include electricity, water, and sewer connections right at your site. Lots of private RV parks and many modern state/national parks have full hookup sites. In our experience, most state parks have electricity and water at each site and a “dump station” near the exit.
Next, I was given a map to my site, but no offer to escort me. Upon arriving at my back-in site, it was evident that there was no way I could get into it because several tow cars were parked in the roadway. It was not because they were illegally parked – rather, it was because the park chooses to place RVs in sites too small to accommodate the RV and tow vehicle within the confines of the site. Fortunately, one of my “neighbors” stepped outside and offered to temporarily move their car. They also suggested I knock on the door of another neighbor to move his car, just so I could get into my site.
As someone who values privacy, I found this a totally unacceptable practice. Once in my site, I stopped by the office to let them know how difficult it was to get into it. The response by one of the personnel was, “well, we’ve had difficulty ourselves.

A simple coax cable works for most RV parks that have a cable hook-up, and we’ve found 50ft is plenty long. Of the few RV parks we visit in our travels only a small handful have cable, and of those only a couple have a quality non-static signal.
